  MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Welcome to the St. Paul Scholarship Foundation (SPSF) website. On behalf the SPSF Board, I am proud to report that our mission remains direct and timely. We are fully committed to ensuring educational empowerment by providing scholarships for Texas students in good academic standing who are in need.  Since inception, we have progressively moved the foundation forward by awarding over $1.8 million in scholarships to students attending Texas institutions of higher learning. We are most excited to support the increasing number of first generation students who have become SPSF scholars.  As a member of the scholarship providers community, we wish you good health and lifelong learning.

"The St. Paul Scholarship Foundation mourns the loss of our fellow Texan, board member and friend - Eddie Bernice Johnson.  EBJ served as a beacon of light, fiercely advocating  educational opportunities for Texas' youth. "Studying broadcast journalism was a clear goal well before I graduated high school. The affordability of pursuing an undergraduate degree was not as clear. The support of SPSF bridged a gap and enabled me to start my journey towards personal development and a professional career."

"..it takes a village to raise a child....This statement rang true countless times throughout my childhood. SPSF not only assisted me with tuition expenses but provided a sense of relief that the village STILL existed. I am grateful for what SPSF has done for me and many others. I am always willing to help this foundation in anyway I can."
